Bates Wells are seeking a Business Development and Marketing Executive to join their busy BDM team on a permanent basis.

About our BDM team

Key responsibilities

In this position you will:

  • Be responsible for driving the development and upkeep of internal comms channels including the Bates Wells intranet, The Beat, positioning yourself as the internal comms expert. 
  • To project manage timely directory submissions, working with our Solicitor Apprentice and external directory consultant. 
  • Co-ordinate and project manage BDM and firm events. 
  • Work with the BDM Managers to implement the social media policy for the firm and each team. 
  • Work with the BDM Managers to implement campaigns and projects for the firm and each team, including across website, social media, and e-marketing channels - from planning to execution and reporting. 
  • Deliver monthly metrics around campaigns to better inform strategy. 
  • Conduct research and create first draft creds packs.
  • Support departments and groups on business development research and client relationship management projects. 
  • Support the BDM Manager and Director on the delivery of the Key Client Programme. 
  • Produce ad hoc reports and research as required. 
  • Support the wider BDM team with any additional projects. 

Specific tasks may change over time, so we’ll need you to be adaptable and flexible as we continue to meet our clients’ needs.
